Apex Wine Cellars and Saunas

In my role as Creative Director for Apex, I led the marketing, communications and creative department for this mid-size manufacturing company with a 22 branch locations across the US, UK, and South Korea. Apex is positioned as premium brand in custom designed and manufactured wine cellars and saunas. Prior to my coming on board, the company had not had an in-house creative role and much of their marketing and promotional materials needed to be redesigned to reflect their positioning in the market as a premium brand.

Creative Direction Role

  • Set direction for and maintained all corporate and product branding
  • Designed and produce corporate marketing collateral supporting all departments and branches. This included: brochures, packaging, sell sheets, proposals and trade show graphics.
  • Wrote and edited copy for all communications.
  • Designed and produced new web sites and other web assets such as online demos and microsites using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and Flash.
  • Coordinated with IT Manager to maintain all corporate and product web properties.
  • Designed and managed email marketing campaigns.
